Southeast Technical Institute offers degrees in 11 different fields, and students may pursue a variety of certificates and degrees in those areas. The most popular topics of study at the college include business, health professions, and engineering technology. The college offers eight online programs that students may complete entirely online and four hybrid programs that require some time spent on campus.

Online programs offered at Southeast Technical Institute include those in bookkeeping, accounting, business administration, computer programming, entrepreneurship, healthcare leadership, marketing, and office assistant. For hybrid programs where many classes are offered online, the college offers programs in mechatronics technology and three programs in medical coding with a Certified Professional Coder Certificate, a professional and facility option, and a professional services option.

Online programs vary from certificates to diplomas to associate degrees and feature different credit and graduation requirements. For example, the bookkeeping program is a one-year diploma that requires completion of 30 credits. Classes students will take to become bookkeepers include Computerized Accounting, Payroll, Introduction to Computers, and College Math.

For the program in healthcare leadership, students will enter an associate degree program that requires completion of 60 credits. With the degree, students may enter roles like patient care manager, health services manager, or healthcare administrator. The college shares that 100 percent of its students receive job placement after graduation.

The computer programmer option is also an associate degree path and requires completion of 62 to 63 credits. Some of the computer languages students will learn in the program include HTML, C#, MySQL, PHP, CSS, and JavaScript. The computer programmer degree may be completed in just two years when students enroll in full-time study. The college suggests that graduates may enjoy an annual median wage of $84,289 after graduation.

Students interested in working in business may want to consider the office assistant diploma option, which requires about a year of online study and completion of 31 credits. Classes required in the program include Communication in the Workplace, Introduction to Computers, Customer Service, General Psychology, and Advanced Computer Applications.
